well apparently u do care which side ur on b/c the only threads u create are ones like this. i didnt hear u bitching when we were blowing $10B a month on an unneeded war. if the money had been spent to hunt down the person we should have been fighting, instead of putting him on the backburner, i wouldnt be saying this either. lets spend money on the bridge to a uninhabited island in freakin alaska....nevermind....lets cancel the bridge and just spend millions on a road that heads up to where the bridge WOULD have been...that makes much more sense.

i was unfortunate to have to watch fox news this morning, but even ur facist buddies said that he didnt have the powers of a line item veto....so there ya go

I have a dream that I can escape all political talk by coming to Tacoma World. I stopped listening to my favorite radio show because they started bitching all the time about politics. Politics is way too depressing for me.

To address that, the answer is simply "nothing." And, to my understanding, that is exactly hodge's point.

If there is no difference in the spending habits between this administration and the previous one, why are people suddenly outraged when they were complacent before?

this is a tax reduction....not a stimulus. big difference. i'm talking about the fact that u said he'd be taking money out of my paycheck when he's letting me keep a few more dollars then i was before him. this gvmt has been run on taxes since before we were a nation.

but yes, i'll gladly pay a few extra $ a check to have a better living situation and better contry to live in

well that is generous considering He has put us on the hook for over 28,000 a tax payer in bill passings.

And no.. there is NO difference between that stimulous and a tax break.. one is just giving you your taxes back in a lump and the other is giving pennies a paycheck.

Also, His proposal to tax the people making over $250,000 will hurt the small business owners. you know the ones he vowed to help during his running for president.

the only thing that is effecting ppl over 250k is that he's letting lapse the tax break that bush inacted for those folks.

a tax break is just that...a stimulus is spending to 'stimulate' the economy. they are both to make the same outcome, but going about different ways to do it. if i remember correctly, no one on here bitched about the spending that gave them $600 from bush to do truck mods
