From 1981-2010 PDX received an annual snowfall of 2.4", with most of the snow (1.2") falling in the month of February. http://www.nws.noaa.gov/climate/xmacis.php?wfo=pqr January typically gets 1/3" of snow, and the month isn't over yet. In the month of January, 1950 Portland received a whopping 41.4"!

Looks like the end cap came unscrewed, are the threads too goobered to screw it back together? Just order a shock body if they are, pretty easy to rebuild yourself. I bet your lack of limit straps pulled it apart... You can also get the shock oil from any bike shop or order online.

Yea, drove from Eastern Oregon to Corvegas on it. Not having that dampening was definitely weird to drive on, but didn't have any issues.

Its a c-clip that holds the internals in. I just rebuilt them last month, so its probably something I screwed up. I'll have to pull it apart and make sure none of the internals got screwed up. If they did, it will be cheaper to just order a new one. It blew out on the compression stroke, so not sure limit straps would've helped. Maybe it got over extended earlier and gave out at that particular time? Limit straps would be a good addition just to make sure though.

I bet you didn't seat the C-clip the right way (sharp edge out) or something like that.

    That's what I'm guessing too.

If anyone knows someone with spare OEM shocks for the front I could buy, let me know.

I want to send in that coilover and Camburg can rebuild it, if its cheaper then getting a new one and I want them to rebuild the other one just be safe. Can't really afford the time to park the truck while that gets done.

oh, and Corvegas is getting some good snow right now.

It's not an even amount. It was blowing around so much that there are drifts that are a foot deep and then the parking lot only had about 6-7 inches on it.

There was a ranger off the road on the way up. Would have been lost down the cliff if he hadn't landed against a tree right off the road.

Still funny how many people don't know what Subarus are all about. I got gas after we got back down and told the attendant I had just come from the top of Mary's Peak. He goes "In this car...?"

I wish I had bought some chains sooner. I hate ice so bad, and my area is hilly.

    Hey Guys,

Not sure if anyone in the Portland area is familiar with "503 Motoring". They're a custom shop in Beaverton that does some really legit work. They are selling one of their shop trucks:

    Tundra_905171281dd19a70b81c91d2e48a70daeddc1726.jpg

I believe it's either an 08 or 09 Tundra. Less than 7K on the clock. They are starting the listing at $47,000. They have put over $100K into it (I'm assuming that includes the original purchase price).

Check out their facebook page for more updates. I really hope someone buys this that I know so that I can come over and drool on it. :) Still no detailed pictures. But 503 Motoring confirmed it is actually an 07, Supercharged, amp research automatic running boards, 100% suede and leather interior

Eh, who cares about the rims. The rest of the stuff they've done to the truck is definitely worth some serious coin.
