its blue diamond rd (160) and Charleston Bl (red rock loop) theres a gas station on the intersection. you can go west on charleston and it will loop around and end at blue diamond. or just head west on blue diamond til you hit charleston. its the last gas station before you head up the mountain. heres a link

Thanks for the heads up Don! I just ordered this-
    http://www.thegaragedealer.com/The-...10-lb-CO2-Tank-and-Vehicle-Mount-Bracket.html

Amazon has it for $308. So I jumped on it. Should have it in a week or 2.

Great run today guys, thanks to all that made it.

DWreck, glad to say the sliders got an appropriate christening today and they held up great! I'm really happy with them, kept my body panels nice and dent-free. :broccoli:

For what we ran today, you need 4wd for sure... Lots of rock crawling, lockers came in handy as well. But in the near future I'd like to organize a more casual run that'll be fun for those with 2wd, seems like there is a lot of folks who would like to run with us but are worried about the 2wd issue. There are plenty of runs nearby that will be safe for 2wd, but entertaining for everyone.

Maybe for the next organized run we can plan on something along these lines.

yea i was thinking of a prerunner run too... ive been scoping out a trail called Beer Bottle Pass, and Ray i think this is the one that goes from Primm to Searchlight.
    http://www.satelliteviews.net/cgi-bin/g.cgi?fid=838675&state=NV&ftype=gap
and i found this video, it looks all 2wd friendly but it says its an 85 mile trip so it should be a good all day run.
    http://youtu.be/-2KOL7R8X1I

yea its was the trail on boulder city with a long stretch of just fucking whoooops and it led down to the water and my dumbass decided to play and smell like shit

    we can start it now.

---All day event, prerunner friendly, McCullogh Pass. next sunday Jan 22 @ 930am.

can meet in Primm at the Buffalo Bills Casino NW area parking lot. (closest intersection to Las Vegas Blvd and Buffalo Mountain Rd.

    or

meet in Henderson, at intersection of Gas Line Rd/Horizon Ridge Pkwy and Paradise Hills Dr.

nice map btw. i personally would like to start in primm, in which case we would meet there at 930am.
