For what little time I was there on Sunday, I had a blast. It was great meeting everyone that I haven't met before.

Must say that the ride from Ocotillo to Superstition and back is AWESOME! There's easier roads and rougher roads. It was fun to watch the explosions of soft sand shoot out from under Reckless and RJs trucks. And when the sand clouds would completely cover them only to see them shooting out from it- Shit I even found myself anticipating the almost-silt.

Glad to hear that Jesse wasn't injured too bad. Hope the truck comes out fixed n ready for more in the end. That jump was epic- wish I could have seen it live.

Proud to say that I got my own little jump going thanks to RJ's scouting. IF I had fun in only a couple hours, you guys must have had a real blast.

Hey all thanks for another wonderful superstition trip! It was great meeting everyone and getting to chill with everyone. If all goes to plan, my truck will be jumpable next year.

 

I swear. Why don't people mind there own fucking business. So he jumped his truck. So he may have fucked it up. Its his fucking truck. He can do what he wants with it. You don't fucking own it he does. As for damage he knows he has potential damage and is getting it checked out. Let the Guy have his fucking moment. I swear. If ya ain't got nothing nice to say than don't speak at all. Everyone was having fun and shit happens.

 

Jesse. Haters will be haters. No worries brother. Epic jump. I did the same thing when we first bought our truck and broke front suspension and limped home. Fixed it and did it again. Shit we were jumping yesterday after we got there.

 

Why does everyone have to be James? I think listening to you all say that is more immature than the person doing the outrageous stunts. Leave it alone already wont ya. Yeah great brotherhood we got here in Socaltacomas

 

Exactly!! good times, It made the trip that more fun and everybody had a great time.

 

To paraphrase and agree calmly with my cohort here- we all do things that we look back on and say maybe I shouldn't have done that. lol I had my share of "stunts" but after all is said and done, they created good stories to share around the next year's camp fire- not without mentioning excellent learning experiences.

I think Jesse gave the group something to awe at and talk about for some time to come. As long as he's able to get it fixed up and what-not, I'm more than happy for him; He made the weekend headlines with a bitchin taco jump. I know many of us have pulled off some "o shits" and got red behind the ears. This is just one of the MANY that us bozos have done.

Have to chime in here, while his camera is a quality dslr and lightroom is a great program its the processor behind the camera that makes the photo (Photographer). As a working photographer this is like telling a chef their food is fantastic,they have a great stove. (rant over) Nice photo's, looks like a fun weekend!

 

Trust me, I know. Jake is an amazing photographer.

 

Not aimed at anyone even though I quoted your post (sorry your was the most recent) it just bugs me when people say its equipment not skill. Again sorry for my mini rant. And it was not directed at anyone. Sorry if it came across that way.

 

Sooooo my video will be a finalized project in about 3 hours.. then uploading it to youtube will be another 4ish... hope to have it up tonight. As for now, im going to unpack and wash the truck

And as for the washing of the truck, It rained on my drive home pretty hard, so half of it is already off

 

the inside of my truck just smells like dirt..I felt I got dirty on my way into work I'm bummed I missed all the pictures!
