This year I'm finally looking to build up my 06 tacoma with a lift, tires, exhaust etc. I'm in the NOVA area and looking for recommendations for off-road shops that can install the 6" fabtech kit I'm looking at. The shop doesn't have to be in NOVA.

    Thanks for your recommendations!

If you're down for the possible 2.5 hour drive, there is a shop in Virginia beach that does quality work, and wont be beat. Pungo off road. Good place.

Never gotten work done there, know lots of folks that have.

Thanks for the tip. You must drive real fast in your Tacoma; VA Beach has always taken me 3.5-6 hours to get to from DC.

Ask to set up a mod day. Plenty of guys in the area would more than likely be able to help out. Saves on the install fees too.
    btw welcome techdawg and pbaxtaco

Thanks Joneill03! For me, it's not necessarily about gettng the mod done, but going to a shop and checking out all the cool sh$t and getting ideas for what I would want. I mean, I probably won't be doing anything to my truck, but at least having a location where I could go check out truck boxes, camper shells, or lift packages would be cool.

You think there would be something between DC and Front Royal or Richmond.

    Anything down in Charlottesville?

Friend of mine went to a shop in Fredricksburg, he got a lift, armor and lockers all put on there. I'll ask him the name of the shop and get back to you.

Theres this place in Chantilly: http://www.hightechautoandtruck.com/ I went there after I got my UCAs on for an alignment and they seemed like they knew what they were talking about. Theres also http://www.tricktrucks.com/index.php I believe they sell a lot of stuff but dont have any first hand experience with them.
Your best bet would be researching on here if you want honest opinions and reviews on products. Any place you go a salesman is going to tell you what you want to hear to pull out the credit card and make a sale so take what they tell you with a grain of salt.

I've never used them personally, but I've been told that Iron Pig Offroad in Fredericksburg does good work.

High Tech 4x4 is known for ripping off their customers (I do believe they have a good reputation for quality although). I got my leveling kit installed at Trick Trucks in Chantilly and they were good to deal with. Quick install and took care of the alignment and such also. Only ones I know of personally around here.

Pro Trucks in Fredericksburg, Badd Boyz in Woodbridge, Hi Tech & Trick Trucks in Chantilly. If you have the parts, I recommend DoubleD for the install. He did my 5100's/885's today. Good dude. Someone on here out in Charlottesville was selling a 6" kit...
