The VW 2012 golf R is an all wheel drive version of the gti with TSi engine and a K-04 turbo. If you have never driven the GTI I would go take one for a spin. They are fun as hell.

I just sold my 2009 Audi A6 because of the depreciation and the maintenance cost. I loved driving it....LoVED. But they depreciate close to 500 per month (vs less than 100 on a taco). They tried to charge me 340 bucks for an oil change and a pollen filter and I just had enough.

If cost was no option, I would own another audi. But I live in the real world and I need to money to mod my Tacoma. ;)

With all the engine covers & belly pans, finding the oil filter can be a challenge on many cars made in the last 10 years or so.

Here are some more picture of this coming Sunday's potential activities.

This place offers a little something for everybody.. from hardcore rock crawlers to stock trucks, everything has bypasses.

Plus after we are done with this (depending on time and such, if anybody still wants to hit some snow ( if there is still some good stuff left) then we can do that too.

I had a 99 Golf TDI and did the oil changes myself. I wish I never would of got rid of that car. I was getting 40MPG in the city and around 47 on the HWY. Plus it had balls unlike a hybrid. Ugh I want one now.

    yeah hybrids are retarded.

any of you guys ever see that episode of topgear where they drove like 650 miles on one tank of fuel. Jeremy Clarkson chose a twin turbo v6 diesel Jaguar and managed like 50 mpg out of it. Richard Hammond had a little VW diesel and got about 70 mpg.

That's the kind of cars we need over here.

If today's Turbochargers were available in the 60s and 70s I think we would all be driving diesels.

The stupid thing is that Diesel is more expensive yet cost less to make.

That would explain the high number of good-looking young women I saw around UNM on the way to work this morning. One had strech pants so tight I could...

    ...never mind.
