even with that small amount of wind the windchill brings it to below -40 BRRRRRRRRRRR i was susposed to work 70 feet up today too

they had a sewer gas leak on the plumbing system so we had to hook up a machine the puts smoke through the vents and comes out on any leak in the system ..

 

yeah I chickened out

 

sewer fumes and gases are toxic right?

yes mam thats why we had to find the problem and it was a floor drain hidden under the flooring that had dried out causing the sewer gas to escape into the theatre..easy Fix

and its something that should generally be fixed immediatly right?

 

as long as its not a enclosed area its not super bad for you..but typically yes you want to fix it pretty fast.. this was in an open area so it was really just a random bad smell when air was pushed through the vent system and cause the methane gas out of this floor drain..

the reason i ask cuz in my little sisters school, one of the class rooms has a pungent sewer smell, and has apparently for a while and the school has yet to do anything about it. theres other areas that smell, you can smell it when you drive close to the school, but its really bad in the one particular class room. and the school board knows about it!

just making sure i was right about it being harmful, so im gonna contact DHHR and maybe a few other places and get them to fix that mess.
