do not worry steven, like dwrek said, we have retrieval gear. we can pull u if stuck. hopefully it shouldnt be too bad. looks like (from wat i can see off google maps n the vid) its just whoops through powerline roads n a few sandy spots. but if u maintain momentum you should be fine. i dont know how bad it gets through the mountain parts but like i said we got straps if u get stuck somewhere. just dont slide off like how i almost did! unless u got really good insurance! discount double-check!!

not too fast. i mean if there are straight flat sections, might get up a few rooster tails but only if its safe enuf. there will be some stock trucks (possibly baretaco/Beth) if they wanna come. im sure its no-lift friendly too. like i said, it looks to be majority powerline service road so there shouldnt be too big obstacles in the way. if anything we'll spot u or just pull u right over shit! LOL

I made Rocky gap, as well as Jersey Jay, stock. That's rediculous!

You guys gotta know that most of these roads have to accomodate large, commercial, service trucks that work on the powerlines, gas lines, etc. A stock taco is no problem!

Can't run this weekend. Too much tortoise shit. I have to sit at my computer. great. :ballchain::turtleride:

BUT I'm down for a 2wd friendly run the weekend after (28-29th), I've got a good one in mind. It runs W out of the vicinity of the new solar development going in near Primm. Its a casual run up to the top of the Clark Mtn area. There is a huge open pit mine up there where you can drive all the way down to the bottom where there is a groundwater lake. Will post details in the near future.

Hey I am new to the area and new tacoma owner too. I have tons of questions hopefully you guys could help. I have a 2006 double cab pre runner trd indigo blue 2wd. Here are some things I have in mind. I want to change my grille. I like the ones in the fj cruisers but dont know if it fits my truck. Also want to paint my truck (in parts because of money) it has a lot of chips and scratches. I wanted to know a place where I could take it that is good and cheap. Also wanted to fog my lights but i dont know if i could do it myself. I would like to do most of the mods myself but I never done it before. Anyways wanted to say whats up.

    1. FJ grill will not fit. There is a mod called Satoshi that's on here.
    2. My experience w/ paint booths-Cheap does not equal good.
    3. Do you mean black out your headlights? The mod is called BHLM (Black Headlight Mod) and instructions are on here as well.

looks like a cool place from the link don posted. some parts look kinda sketchy, some very tight spots some 2wd might not be able to maneuver through.

just keep it if no one wants it. i know i did my old one. but thats just me. im not selling my TRD. (that rhymes).

pebbles are sssiiikkkk!!!! FTW!!!!! i almost rolled off one this one time!!!!

we should be done way before that time. trail is only about 40mi. unless someone gets really stuck. but if u gotta leave, just leave. we dont need you n ur barbie truck.

....install fog lights? or "smoke" ur lights? or "tint" ur lights? if u need help any of us can do (to the best of some of our abilities). google it then start a mod day and dont forget the beers!

Bummer. I can't meet up that early. But if y'all do food or drinks when you get back....give me a holler.

Bummer again.....It's my birthday weekend. I don't think I should make plans to operate a motor vehicle.
