That's funny, I didn't realize you had given the ome kit that much thought. Had I realized, I wouldn't have given you a ride if you wanted. Are you going to put the ucas on before the lift? I think your caster will be crazy high if you do. When I had the 885's with about 1.5" of lift the caster was at 2.9 and 3.4 respectively so I can only imagine how high it would be at stock height.

No, the only reason I am set on the UCAs is because of the DSM group buy going on. They will a nice addition to the coffee table until the rest of the suspension arrives.

I should have taken you guys up on all the offers for the ride alongs (thank you for the offers by the way), but it was my first time out with the truck, I wanted to see what it could handle from Toyota. I mentioned to Mike I want to go back up there in a few weeks, even if it is just to camp. I don't know who is local enough to drop in, but that could be another weekend to compare setups.

i got the two main pillars at the front of the rack done today, with the bed rail mounts and caps on top. would have gotten farther, but had to go tow my friends car to the shop.......retart claims to be a "car guy" but doesn't take any care of his vehicle other than aesthetics. only good news is i got 20 feet of really large towing chain with hooks for free :)

Ryan, if you like I can go over the difference between OME and kings. I've had both...

it's good stuff. i have 10 feet of nice tow chain with hooks rated for higher than the chain, but it's a little on the short side for self recovery scenarios. does do well with trees though like you said. it'll be nce having 30 feet to work with now.

No wasted time with you. You wash your truck today too?

I forgot you had OME on your old truck. I'd be interested in hearing the difference.

    Ryan,
Also take note that the OME's are valved for a little extra weight such as a bumper so if you plan to do the whole overland thing then the valving should fit you well.

Uh oh. You know what that means tomorrow. Set up the go pro to record and mischief that goes on.

I washed mine and my dads car today. I think his was worse than mine and he didn't wheel it. I also got a good chunk of the dent out by removing the bed cubby and beating it. Most of the mark came off too.
