Sliders and Kids.....

I was wondering if those with sliders could weigh in on if their kids have a hard time getting into their trucks. Have heard some complaints for kids 5 to 8 age; was wondering if there is a real difficulty as I have a 5 and 2 year old and am looking at hd sko's on dc lb.

 

BeefedTaco makes bolt on steps for sliders.

My 2 year old is too short to climb up into my truck anyways...but we are getting steps for the sliders going on my wife 4Runner for him (and for her...)

Great question. That's my rationale for adding sliders to "the list". My youngest is 5 however.

 

I say ditch the kids, go with the sliders.




Oh Sliders AND kids, thought it was OR kids. Nevermind!

 

They are not like steps, and do not make it easier for kids to climb in.

That said, I don't think they actually make it any harder- it's the height itself that does that.

sliders make great monkey bars, im at about a 5 year olds height (short joke) and i can hop in my truck just fine lol
