I don't plan on attending due to the vast mileage difference but I did sticky it for you so it doesn't get lost amongst the threads.

It's difficult for me to know my schedule so far in advance, but I am going to try. I need to do some more camping, got a camper and used it only about 9 times...

I have added a PUBLIC poll to this thread to help jhodge83 keep track of his "maybe"s and "definite"s. I will also be deleting extraneous posts in this thread.

Let's keep on subject so that he can plan a great meet for us!

ok...well they have a group camp ground that will handle 15-35 that can be reserved for $40 per night for the whole area. Which is what i was thinking for us....right? This we can all get together and BS and shit w/o having to wander all over the forest and worry about turdtaco getting anally violated by bears. If we do it this way, me or whoever will be there for sure can reserve the site and then we'll split the $80 when we get there or something...

"Badin Group Camp was developed for use by clubs, families and other groups. The camp includes three separate areas each with tables, grills and tent pads. Two toilet facilities , water spigots and showers are centrally located to serve all three sites. A $40.00 fee is charged per site per night. Reservations must be made prior to camping in this area. Each site has a 15-35 person capacity."

They also have individual sites on the east side of Uwharrie that are $5 per night. So $10 per person, no matter how many people show up.

"Uwharrie Hunt Camp has eight sites for tent camping. Each site has a table, grill, and tent pad. Toilet facilities are provided in the campground. Sites are $5.00 per night"

Also, daily passes are running $5 per day. So if we just make a big trail day of it Saturday, then hey its $5....if others wanna go back out on Sunday, thats cool too.

All info is directly from the page....Uwharrie Link.

Awesome! thanks for gettin the info Hodge! I say we go with the big campsite and just each chip in when we get there. This is gonna be great! BTW, i'm willing to put money on Turd getting violated by some kind of animal in hte middle of the night. I dont know why but he just seems like the one in the group that would get raped by a racoon....

everyone else good for the big site and splitting cost after we get there? after the new year i'll go ahead and reserve a bigger site and we'll do an even split on it. even if we only get 8 people, the cost would be $10 a piece...so equal to if we each got our own site...so sounds like a good deal to me. the more people, the cheaper it is.
