just saw this thread and I love it. I was a typical COD player before I met BF3. I had every COD game/zombie COD game. I thought I would never switch until my friend got me playing BF3. Looks like most of ya are on PC or XBOX. I"m a PS3 guy.

Is it me, or am I the only one who keeps on dying from the Famas and 12G Frags?

I die from all sorts of stuff. I don't think the 12G have ever killed me.

I'm seriously thinking of getting one of these http://xim3.com/ I used to play the original BF1942 competitively on the PC and only started playing console games a few years ago. The transition to a controller has always been difficult for me and I miss the keyboard and mouse. I really enjoy BF3 but am hating flying the jets with the controller!!! I must have "happy thumbs" because I can't keep the crosshairs on my target whenever in a dogfight. Helicopter I do pretty decent with but am by no means an expert pilot.

The aircraft takes lots of practice to get the feel of them. I sucked on both at first. Now I'm ok on the helicopter & better on the jet. Console systems do have flight controllers available.

I never recieved any invite but then again the last time i was on was saturday night. I love the helicoptors and jets. Im not that god with the jets and pretty decent with the helicoptors. I just want a good gunner or someone who can fly a helicoptor. I remember playing in kharge island and me and another guy which was flying the helicoptor owned everyone. Never went down the during the whole game. Destroyed every enemy tank , jets, and helicoptor there was. Pretty cool.

Yeah it is great when you get tagged with someone that know what they are doing. I've done well in the tank as the gunner or as the tank driver when paired with someone that has a clue.

That's the hard part, getting paired with somebody that has a clue. I've only had that experience a handful of times. Probably just sheer luck. Call me crazy, but the best way to get rid of a ridiculously good pilot (or the enire air force) is a guy with a SOFLAM and a couple of guys with Javelins. Eventually they get the hint and stick to ground tactics. I run around 90% of the time with a Javelin instead of anti-air rockets simply because I'm more likely to kill a tank or if I'm lucky, aircraft with it. I'd run with an RPG but I use my guns and grenades to make ppl die ;)

I haven't heard of anybody using a flight contoller for MW3 on the XBox because 75% of the game is spent running around on foot, and driving a ground vehicle and you can't have 2 controllers running at the same time that I know of (flight stick AND a regular controller) on the same account.

Tank + 3 seat + guided shell = bye bye helo. Too much fun when you see the helicopter dumping his flares and everything. Nothing he can do against the tank.

USA S-12 !! I know some of ya'll have to be using this gun. Is it that badass?! I get killed from it all the time. And, from LONG distances! How is a shotgun blasting me from LONG distances. Slugs? I'm still a long ways away from having one. But someone tell me about this damn gun.
