    it stays at 0 and me and my dad aren't sure y we ruled out tranny and the in put sensor we replaced the gear in the out put sensor and we are about to replace the output sensor all together if that doesn't fix it we gonna check out the wiring..

    at any point when your driving down the road will it move? i ask because when i did my leds in my dash i was messing with the front of the tach and knocked off the black stem the the needle rests on off and it messed up the tach and i would be doing mabey 35 and it was saying 80 and if i went around mabey 15 it was at 0 so i asked a member on here and i had to rotate the needle counterclockwise once around back to the resting spot on the black stem and that fixed it.

    no it just sits at 0 although i broke a spindle and while it was in the shop i had them look at it. when my truck was fixed i drove it and the needle would radomly catch and would go nuts sometimes it would it like 30 or 70 some times it would top out ant 110 but it would always end back up at 0 that only lasted about a month though.. hope that makes sense?
