    More owls are killed by cars and trucks then any other cause they hunt the roads and have no clue about cars. If they are not killed out right they most often end up blind after being hit. I picked one up after it was hit and took it to a rehab center and got an ear full about owls. He did live but was indeed blind. By the way being a bird of pray it is illegal to posses feathers or parts so don’t hang him from your mirror.

    damn that sucks...same thing happened to me about a year ago in the work truck (1 week old :rolleyes:)

    something clean and simple you can do on that grill is cut out all those "hive" inserts and add a nice mesh behind it...homertaco did something like that :spy:

    or ill buy it off of you :cool:

    I wouldn't be worried about the pics. I had a Great Horned Owl swoop down on my way to work one morning, smashed into the windshield, killing it. So I picked it up, called the state game commission and was told to just "throw it away, it happens".
