    Hey guys,

I'm about to move and my new place only has Cox cable for tv and internet other than Directv. Don't really like satellite tv have it now. What's your feedback on Cox?

You can get comcast through coax cable. It is the fastest form of internet available I believe.

Edit: just realized I went full retard with this post lol. Please disregard.

I had COX cable years back but I remember the customer service was top notch. The actual cable quality was simply decent.

Things may have changed but that's what I remember.

We have Cox cable and Internet. Can't stand them but they pretty much have a monopoly where we are. Could get satellite, but here in Ks I'd never have tv. They are overpriced IMHO

Who's over priced? Satellite or Cox? How's the tv though good stations as fast Internet?

    Yes.
I had them in Arizona for a few years. Never any complaints. (Other than their stores...getting stuck in line behind someone who can't pay their bill, etc.) Internet speed was good, much better than what I'm dealing with in Wisconsin at the moment.

I have them. Its cool and compared to my sisters atnt account its like half. I have hdtv movie package and internet for right under 100. The internet is fast with me on wi fi phone/laptop and hardwired to my ps3 all at once lol. Its only the second from the cheapest.

Cox is a bit over priced in my area- but they are the only option besides satellite (and I don't like satellite at all).
I pay a bit over 125 a month for cable and internet- Movies and Information packages , HD, and the upper end of internet speeds. For that much at my last place I had free long distance phone and a DVR too...so not the greatest deal. but the customer service is pretty good (which is a rare find down here) and the selection/reliability is pretty good.

in Socal Cox is the best there is. The internet is the fastest and most reliable there is, and the tv is very good. Unlike Satelite they have hundreds of channels and virtually no repeat channels. The price is competitively priced and they've won numerous awards for their customer service.

You might check with AT&T and see if they have U-Verse in your area if you want to look into other options.

I had Cox. No issues. The internet was fast and the service was reliable.

I have UVerse and I think the picture is great. I don't know what you mean by repeat channels? I have HD and standard tv channels that repeat, but that's no different than Cox.

If he's got pixelated HD, I'd have him call to request a tech come out and examine the line. They can tell if you're dropping packets.

Super reliable service for all of my clients, and the main choice for business' i deal with that have less then 30 machines.

internet is top notch and the fastest, as well as best price/performance ratio compared to other local offerings.

Cable tv is reliable, only issues are some report crappy digital boxes, i bought the insurance and traded mine out twice in 5 yrs. they just hand you a new one. sometimes satelite will have better ppv offerings though.

phone, not a whole lot to say, its a phone service. most use vzw for business offerings, best reception.

what exactly does it do or not do? i and my clients have never had an issue. generally the switch is made to cox as satellite is to unreliable for their applications.
