coming from a guy who doesnt even drive a LT truck .
if i hit a whoop section in my truck slow i will bottom out my front end and smash really hard and end up breaking/bending stuff. itll look a little something like this. Reguardless of how you drive offroad youre gunna break and bend stuff no matter what so its a lose lose situation but its damn fun doing it hahahahahah

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA8QIlnxsTE

now speed it up and you will skip right over the top whoops like so.

hell yes, that is exactly what iam going to do, I kick myself in the ass everday thinking how much of a waste of money building my truck was. Sure its cool and scoots me around in the desert but shit i could have bought a fully built caged beater instead.

i think the same thing, i wish i would have bought a truck already built, i would have spent less than half the money. but its nice saying its mine and i know everything about it.

my next truck will be bought already built:)
my next truck will be a 4 runner, not sure if i want a long travel one or a SAS

yup next truck is going to be a late 80's bodystyle single cab yota, going for a simple truck that works good. Pretty much want to replicate dan vances Tortuga, that thing just handled.

LT is made to take the beating and remain in control. I'm not saying the whole truck isn't more stable but your suspension is doing more work cause it has the means to. I find it hard to believe you going slow makes you hit your bumps. Unless you are bucking. Physics says the more power you put in the more power you get out. That extra speed doesn't turn into less stress. Just depends on the angle you hit the terrain where that extra stress is placed. Obviously the stock Tacoma didn't fare well to more speed. Hence the reason I assume everyone suggests to gusset everything because all of your shit is under increased stress. Am I wrong? Front LT is in by the way.

gelo, leave your truck the way it is!!! unless your going to go 100% bolt on LT like tc/camburg and a defined spring under kit. Your little single cab is sweet! so simple and clean.
