I doubt they pay for it but there is definitely either a left front wheel bearing or drive axle gone bad. I was given the "preferred" warranty at the time to sale last week, but today, when I reviewed what the warranty, the bearing and drive axle wasn't include. The rep says, "they will work with you".

the dealer says they are going to replace the left front bearing with a cavat statement by the service writer. He says the truck was supposed to be sold "as is" and not "preferred". Why document a 2k mile warranty then say the truck should have been sold as is? Maybe this made the guy feel better. It certainly made me feel better to have them fix the bearing.

I picked up the truck today and it drives quiet as a mouse. Now I only have to fix the compass and all is well.

The vehicle didn't come with DRLs so I may buy the module for it. I like the look of the truck with DRLs.

DRL's look awesome, I think. Can always tell from a distance when you're gonna pass another taco on the road. :p

Yep when I fixed mine I got scared because I could tell the previous owner tried the solder fix when I was taking it apart. I guess I was better at soldering then they were because I was able to fix it. I did de-solder and completely removed the resistors and started from scratch. I have done a whole lot of soldering in my day and I have to say that is a tricky one, but like many have proved, it can be done.
