Things were about the same here this morning... on top of the leftover snow.

200,000 Puget Sound Electrical customers without power. I drove home in about 7 miles of darkness, every 3rd street light worked or so. Since I live right next to the hospital, PSE is quick to get our electrical back up. Came home to a warm house and baked a homemade pizza. Comcast even had stuff working for me

I keep hearing big thumping noises as the trees shed their ice/snow. No downed trees here, but plenty around Capitol Forest from what I hear.

All the hotels are filled from here to at least Tacoma.

I toss out ammo cans quite a bit....usually smaller ones, but sometimes have the taller longer cans. I can recycle them if someone needs.

They are pretty damn beefy, 60 some lbs. per box. Plus whatever I'm throwing in them. Definitely adding a little weight to the bed. Good for winter driving I guess haha.

I think $110 per. Sportsmen's Wharehouse for the win. Probably throw a couple layers of clear coat on just for preventative maintenance. To much going on to take the time to properly prep them for a new coat of paint.

Would be nice if conditions would let Heathers open up. I really like Crystal and White Pass...rode there a lot back in 04-08. Never been south to Bend though, maybe Feb.

Bachelor by far is the best. I've been to every large mtn in oregon, been to cyrstal and a few places near kamloops(bc) and whistler. Between here and BC bachelor hands down best mtn. Worth a trip by far.

Yeah Bachelor, Baker, Whistler, and Banff (Alberta) are on my list over the next couple seasons. Think Whistler will be on the bikes this summer.

heard something big grinding around outside and feared that I'd finally see carnage. Nope, just a big diesel bobcat thing plowing, lol.

Not sure what to call it. It's like a bobcat, but about 3 times bigger.

Back in '05 I caught about 30 ft of air in the park at Timberline...

Got knocked unconscious, broke my collar bone, 5 ribs, and my thumb in 2 places. I got a punctured lung also.

Let me tell you, sitting in the hospital for 10 days with a catheter, a lung tube, and multiple IV's sticking out of you isn't fun...

Neither is having 8 broken bones and not a single cast. (I didn't even know my thumb was broke till 4 weeks later because I was on so much painkillers.)

Hospital bill was 40 thou, and my neck is still all fucked up from it.

So yeah, I don't snowboard to much anymore.

Well it sucked at first because they wouldn't even let me have a sip of water... They did eventually give me some morphine though, so that made the second half of the trip pretty good...

I caught some ice on my back edge right at lip of the biggest ramp. I was going for a big 3...

    Sublimity, outside Salem.

Ahh, the Acropolis... That brings back memories.
I used to go there all the time when I first moved to Oregon (1999-2000.)

I used to live only a few miles from there...

Casa Diablo was a good experience lol
