How about the Fox on the Craigslist link? 8" travel? Know anything about those?

I'm guessing 8 inch would be stock travel?

Air shocks are more used for like buggy's, they can replace springs because they are meant to hold weight, since you already have leaf springs in the rear it would be redundant, you need the kind dan posted, you don't have to go with icons if you don't want though, thats preference.

What rear lift do you have? Best thing to do is measure without a shock mounted and buy accordingly. I'd say 10-12" for a 3" lift????

Well, after some homework...and hoping the Maxtrac spindles come through...they will be roughly 3.75" according to Maxtrac..not a full 4". For the time being, I plan on running the 5100's at either .85 giving me roughly 4.5" or at 1.75 giving me 5.5" up front until i can afford some coilovers...I currently have them set at 2.5" and have a rear 2" AAL..and i'm butt high. Being used to sand and all the prerunners in the area, i like my nose high. I have all pro's gathering dust in my garage until I have the spindles and install them at the same time....so whatever setup I end up going with I want to be .5-1" higher up front...if I have to add a .5 or 1" block...so be it...so I figured atleast use some decent shocks in the rear..Pro comp makes a resi mx6 shock...heard anything positive about those? I'm just trying to figure this stuff out...Fkn essay. Tips are welcomed.

Here are my 10" Fox 2.0 resi's installed that I got from ORW. The 10" Fox fit the 3" All Pro Expedition Leaf pack (actually around 4") perfectly I only had about .25"-.50" left out of the shock at full suspension drop below the factory mount. If you go higher than that on your rear leafs you will need to go 11" Fox or else you will destroy your shocks if doing full drop on offroad. A 12" shock would be too much.

Up travel is more important anyways. And 12" version of what you have on expos leaves only 3" of up travel. Lol

No still too long of a shock unless you have like a 6" leaf pack
