I have a tire for you. I will pick out the best one and set it aside for whenever we can catch up. How's my grille?

    A. Silver shackles

Shackles in the box till you go wheeling. No sense having them out in the open to rust and bang around.

Shackles banging around will cause some rust, so just be aware, but I think you know my color preference.

you should actually put them on and then hook a secondary battery up to it, so that when someone tries to swipe it, the complete the circut, and get buzzed, (just dont forget to undo it before you get pulled out)

Yeah, I was thinking of trying some sports grip tape on them so they don't rattle and tear up the paint so much.

    Now there's an idea.

    Thinking about it...

Oh no, Scott got into John's account :goingcrazy:

    galvanized

and don't leave them on cause they either:
    *get stolen
    *rattle off
    *seize from rust
*bang the shit out of your nice new paint until your bumper rusts

That said I have had my shackles and tow straps in the bed of my truck for weeks now

everyone's scarred & that's why we are hanging with the SAS toys tomorrow.

You no go to Whar**n so I no invite.

Nothing says fun like a swamped Taco...do it....we can play in the snow and rain :)

    :(

Well yeah, by "silver" I meant galvanized. I've had the one sitting in my hitch receiver since spring and it's just a little dirty. Tightening them down with a wrench keeps them from rattling off, and probably getting stolen. Main reason I would keep them off is for the pain but I kinda like the look with them on.

Would love to but I promised my brother I would help him with some shit this weekend and he just got back to me that he wants to do it Saturday so I'm out.

I did the same thing with the wrench until I got stuck in a swamp and couldn't loosen them very fast while water crept into my interior :(

I agree they do look good and I rode around with mine in for a while, but then I realized how much rust they caused and I took them off.

No biggie. It's better to save it for next weekend anyway

These parts are accumulating, need to stop being lazy and sell them off. I was thinking of hanging them around the garage, might have a whole truck in there eventually. Or just throw them out once I'm tired of looking at them like I did with the stock exhaust and leaf springs.
