if you have 6 damn inches of lift, there's not really a good reason to be running a tire any narrower than 305.

 

I don't understand the attraction to 6" DB lifts...

 

I am sure his new tires in the pic are the same size. But he is looking to sell his old XD's with tires if anyone is interested.

In person his truck looks pretty damn good. And he does like to get that sucker dirty, wish i could find his old pics of having it covered in mud.

ehhh, 305 is pretty freakin wide, hell i'm running 295's right now.

Got a guy at work says he might donate some 305's to me when he swaps his tires, but not 100% on that right now, just talked about it the other day.

simply aesthetic. Honestly id consider running the RCD, but wouldnt touch fabtech or procomp again. and you get the benefit of not running shitty angles on your cvs. so if you just want the looks and not performance its not as bad, except for the whole cutting the crossmember thing.

 

rcd with a set of icons, foxs, or kings, that are made for the 6 inch lifts. you get higher front diff clearance than a 3 inch lift (db lifts are normally the same as stock under the front diff), and high-center clearance of a 6 inch lift. and 35s are cake to run.

 

yet when u talk about 35s id be one to look into regearing.. $$$$$ either that or id see if the pops wanted to let me put his old suburban engine after we rebuild it into the taco

i have a nice exhaust leak at the coupling between the first and second cats/resonator on the passengers side. could that be causing this? otherwise it's a bad cat or shot 02 sensor correct?

 

of course, i'd hate to even think about 35s without a regear. my friend who has the setup i jsut described has already regeared. he's thinking about going to 37s or 38s and i bet he's still got better pickup.

 

hopefully when all is said and done with that engine, we should be pushing over 400HP dunno what were gunna put it in yet. but we gotta build a house first

 

that turned out great. might really complete the look if you swapped out your turn signal bulbs with some of those ones with the blue film over them (they don't actually light up blue)
