March 8, 2009: Pismo Dunes Meet

this is gonna be fun. nick is probably gonna have a kick pullin my prerunner out of everywhere hopefully not, im gonna air down to like 8 psi in the rear. is it a good idea to air down the front only to about 14 psi, i was thinkin havin more psi in the front tires are better for the sand and waaay less psi in the rear. or should all 4 tires be air down to 8

 

u can air down front and back, this way it's not like pullin a sled thru the sand...float baby float

If you go down to 8, don't catch any air and be careful when turning..

You'll probably do just fine with front and back around 15 psi

 

i really wanna get my suspension on before this trip, but damn its in like a week?? hmmm

Yeah man im stoked! I just got my Icons w/ remote resis front and rear and Camburg 1.25" UCAs on last friday, broke them in a little at Calico, but really looking foward to putting them through their paces next weekend!

I sold my old OME 885's and N140s to John 0087 on TTORA. He's in dire need of a lift. He made it through Odessa last weekend, but needed some clearance.

Good thing I only live about thirty minutes away... I might camp in the rain depending on how bad it is, or might just head home then come back out in the morning
