"hum" noise coming from somewhere?

just did some looking on my truck cuz the noise is really getting old now. do this....crank the truck, engage your e-brake, and put it in drive. look at your breather. doesn't seem to be doing anything, but place a little pressure on it. make the noise then? mine did. i put 3 (1/2 in.) flat washers under the bolts to lift the breather and reinforce it a little more. breather is much more secure (no give) and seems to have stopped the noise. will let you know how it goes. idk if this will help you, but figured i'd share.

 

you know why it hums?

cause it doesn't know the words!!!
