This thread is loaded with good info. Thanks TW!
Received the ScanGauge II today, hooked it up, set the X-Gauges for TF1 & TF2, and now messing with getting amber color to actually be amber.
Bought direct from LinearLogic, arrived with firmware rev. 4.06, which I believe is the most current.

My SG just got back from being reflashed to 4.06. Now on my 09, the TFT does work, but neither of the ambient air codes above did. Any other ideas?

BTW, thanks for arranging the free firmware upgrade for us.

TFT codes appear to be working on 2009 Tacoma with firmware 4.06!
What temp is normal to be seeing? Thanks.

Any luck with the 05-09 codes yet?

Yes you just didn't read. I posed the code on the first page half way down for 05-09 and then the company confirmed that on page three. With this.

I did see that. What I asked the Rep for was an 05 - 09 code that reads both TFT sensors as shown in his post. Please read his reply and you'll see what I am speaking of.

I guess your answer is no then. But when we looked at the wiring diagrams awhile back no one found 2 temp sensors in the trans. I know techstream data showed 2 readings on my truck tho. Every time I looked it was always the same number, but I'll drive around today with it and see how the readings looks.
The TFT we currently are using works good tho. My buddy has a scan gauge in his 2005 Chevy 1500 and its not CAN. His doesn't change very fast. I thought ours updates fast.
Put the trans in gear, one foot on the brake and one on the gas see how fast the tranny temp climbs. I have yet to see a problem with it.
Anyways since techstream shows data for 2 temps (who knows how they calculate the 2nd) I'm sure if it was important enough LLC could get the data on the scanguage since the data is in fact there. I just don't think its worth his troubles if its working fine now.

The data is there for both sensors. One is the pan temp and one is the torque converter output temp. they are sent on the same address in different bytes. You may get it to work with the following:

    Transmission Fluid Temperature (Degrees F)
    TXD: 07E021D9
    RXF: 032180000000
    RXD: 2810
    MTH: 00070065FE70
    NAM: TFT 1

    Transmission Fluid Temperature (Degrees F)
    TXD: 07E021D9
    RXF: 032180000000
    RXD: 3810
    MTH: 00070065FE70
    NAM: TFT 2

Where did this info come from? I haven't seen 2 physical sensors in the transmission. Last time it was only a guess, is this still the same?

On my 09, with the SG firmware update, the first one works (same code as supplied by Linearlogic), but the second one gives -40, with no change in the data while driving. I assume that this means the data from the torque converter sensor is not available.

I loaded TFT 1 in my 2012 and was reading 84* setting and idling while loading the info
Haven't drove it yet to monitor temps but it looks promising.

So what's the verdict here guys? Will the Scangauge read engine oil pressure and tranny temps on the 2011 Models with the 2012 instument cluster?

Took the 2012 for a drive in the country today, 23 degrees outside, 60 mph 5th gear, converter locked, 186 water temp TF1 and TF2 both showed 96-98 degree.
That don't look right to me as it appears to be too cold for transmission temp.

    Thoughts?

Also, what was the temp on startup. If the TFT was being reported in degrees Celsius...
