    Just posting this for anyone searching for the Hankook ATm in 275/70/17 .

    There are several online vendors falsely advertising this tire as a C rated , 6 ply LT , when in fact it only comes in an E rated , 10 ply .

    This has been confirmed by email with Hankook .

    I like them . Less stiff and noisy than my Hankook MT's and better snow traction too .

    LT275/70/17 is a new size for 2011 , I have a set on my truck so I'm pretty sure they make them :)

    So these are roughly 32.15 inches compared to a 265/70/17 which is 31.6 inches right?

    And as far as E load rating goes, that is the rating typically for heavier trucks than ours?

    So the ride will be firmer with these E ratings correct?

    How'd you find out? Ride stiffer and look at the side? Find a website that was correct? Getting some money back for false advertising?

    Yeah, an E rated 10 ply should be a much firmer tire than a C rated 6 ply. How do they ride on the Taco?

    I noticed before we put them on .

    I ordered them through a mechanic friend , LT 275/70/17 , and that's what came , not really his fault . I was expecting a 6 ply C rated because it was shown that way on a bunch of online links , the Hankook site doesn't specify a load rating for this tire .

    They are less stiff than my E rated Hankook MT's , less noisy and better in snow , so they are a better tire for me , but if I had known they were E rated , I might have gone with the 255/80/17 km2's afterall , lol
