I have a chance of picking up a tx pro for $600.00 more then the off road.....good deal? Im really after the TRD cat back and would sell the wheels so are theys fake b locks worth 600+ im assuming they are but was just seeing how much they are worth to maybe get my funds back for the wheels and tires I want.

Alot of people say "OMG you can buy that stuff for less BLAHRBAHBAAAA" or something but I think the package looks really good honestly. The wheels look good even if they aren't true beadlocks, the tube steps look good, the exhaust looks good (can't tell a huge sound difference though), they graphics look pretty good and they tell the world that you bought a truck a bit more expensive than the TRD OR, and I love the look of the greywood dash.

If this package is only 600 more then I say go for it. But if you are selling the wheels and replacing the tubes steps for slidders and whatnot, I don't see the point... might just go for the off-road.

Why does everybody keep talking about them not being real beadlocks? News flash... beadlocks aren't highway legal. How often do you guys really have your tires falling off the beads?

OP- with your idea you'd be getting the exhaust for free, and maybe a few free tanks of gas. I think it sounds like plan man.

    1) Posing is stupid.

    2) DOT approved beadlocks can be purchased.

    3) You're right though, for most people, losing a bead is a non-concern; for those that it is a concern, they won't need to ask questions about trim packages.

At least the baja comes with T/A's...I don't understand why they continue to use the Rugged Trails.

Because most people purchase both packages for the image. How many TRD ORs you think actually OR?

if you plan on selling the wheels, and you want the exhaust.. i'd buy it... sell the wheels, you made your money back there and got a free exhaust.

$600 more?.. hell ya do it!!

but if you plan on modding it in the future, dont do it cuz you just end up wasting money cuz you bought it for what it looks like and what it comes with. if you're planning on modding it, just buy an base SR5

I love my TX-pro. Im not planning on lifting it or doing huge tires or anything like that so it is perfect for me. I got mine for no additional markup either, so I am happy.
