I live in San Diego. All my bed bolts are completely rusted on the top, and the trucks only a year and a half old

    Should these be replaced now?

The structural integrity of the bolt doesn't look bad to me, I would just wire brush it them rattle can it black.

Anytime fog mod, debadged, drop in k&n, smoked taillights, led inside and out,
I live in Hawaii with a 2007 and all my bed bolts are about as rusty as that. Everything else, frame included is all good.

I live 5 miles from the beach. I surf 2 / 3 times a week. Should warranty replace this?

I'd get another year and a half.. I'll be leaving cali in 6 months though. Maybe I'll replace them. I was just worried the structure would be bad from the rust and I wouldn't be able to remove them in the future.

If you are worried about it stop by the dealer and see what they say , otherwise , as above , wire brush and paint .

Pull them out one by one and apply anti sieze compound if you're worried about being able to remove them in the future. IF you do go to remove them in the future, spray with penetrating oil from above. Get below and brush them with a wire brush and then hit them with more penetrating oil and then try.

the only reason I haven't done this is cuz I assume it'll get rubbed off quickly with loads in the bed.. but whatever.. I'll do it tomorrow i guess. Shouldn't take too long.

Never leave my wetsuit on them. I do stand in my bed while I pour water on myself and change though... seems like at the end of the week theres always a lot of sand in the bed.... I "built" a box to put my wetsuit in. I just used a big plastic box from target, drilled holes in the bottom to act as a drain, and put a couple holes in it that I could bungie it down with. Then painted the top of it to say TRD.. It works well to hold my wet suit to and from the beach.
