Just got a brand new 2012 on Thursday and discovered today that when I pull the wiper/washer arm, washer fluid squirts out, but the wipers dont come on. I then have to turn the wipers on manually. I have the intermittent wipers. Is this normal? I don't remember it being that way in my 09.

No that's not normal. I'd take it in to get it checked out. My 12 washers work like any other car I've ever had.

Apparently I do not have the Intermittent wipers. So, according to the manual, I have the Type B non-intermittent wipers, and judging by it, the wipers don't come on with the washer fluid. You have go to be kidding me!! Come on Toyota!
