How do you keep warm in your Truck bed?

How do you keep warm in the bed of your truck? Electric blanket, Coleman stove, NG, Propane, Butane, Sheepskin, what?

I put a thin coating of lighter fluid on the entire of my bed liner. Light it up, put a water bed on top of that, and I have myself a jacuzzi

 

Three dogs, wife doesn't like hunting.

I use a nice, warm sleeping bag that I zip open and use as a comforter. But since all bags / blankets compress underneath the body, you lose the most heat there. So I have a Bedrug mat (closed cell foam), and put a Thermarest on top of that. That gives me almost 2 inches of cushion.

 

Canvas bedroll, with 3 bags and a wool blanket in it. I've slept in a foot of snow with another 6" falling throughout the night and didnt get cold. In the bed of the tacoma it's like a sauna. Once I get my shell on ill be able to just take my backpacking bag and mat.

 

I've got the bedrug. I see 12v electric blankets and the heated auto seat people make a 12v heated mat that looks neat or just mount an 11lb propane bottle under the truck. I just wonder what the best way to have heat and maybe a little cooking would be. I would like to be able to camp for say a week at a time.

I know coleman makes all sorts of cool little heaters. Honestly if your truck has a topper and its carpeted... You shouldnt need much more then a couple heated sleeping bags. Unless your camping in the middle of winter in a cold climate... Which im not sure why you would want to that... But to each his own.

Those tempertures i dont even want to get out of my bed! LOL props to you for loading up your truck, driving somewhere and actually sleeping in the back of it... Anything under 65 and im wearing a hoodie no matter what. God colorado is such a great state lol

Winter? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. With our -60 F nights + windchill; I'd rather hammer nails underneath my fingernails than sleep outside...
