I grew up in Toledo, OH, went to school in West Lafayette, IN, worked in Lakes Charles, LA, went back to school in Madison, WI, went to work in West Lafayette, IN, then Detroit MI, and now outside of Cleveland, OH. I've been to most states (40 I think) and most of the national parks. Believe it or not, I really like outside of Cleveland (right on Lake Erie for sailing/boating/kayaking), very inexpensive, and fairly rural (land is $2000/acre 60 miles east of downtown).

Northerm WI is probably my top choice. After that, somewhere in the mountain states (if I could find a job and afford it!)

In the US, Wyoming all the way! Only 1/2Mil people, great land, virtually no illegals, you have hunting and wheeling, and low cost of living. To me it turns out that the best place is also one of the cheapest, only thing not many jobs. I'm still trying to convince the boss. I've moved her 4 times in 8 years and she tells everyone that the military doesn't treat their people this poorly, why is her husband doing it to her.... I keep telling her it's the adventure!

Well, I live in Tennessee and I love it here. I have lived in many different countries and states in the U.S. and seen all of them except Hawaii and Alaska. I would have to say that Tennessee is one of the best. If I had to choose a different one...I guess Colorado. I have a friend that patrols on of the resort mountains there...I could snowboard for free :D :D

I lived in a tiny town east of the Rockies in Montana. It was the most peaceful, clean, simple and beautiful place that I have ever been.

A Roo Bar comes to mind. I also protected the tail lamps. It is a farm and you back over stuff; Willows mostly. All of the factory options are on it. The dealership owner bought it for himself. He put a topper on it and pricey tyres. The Power Wagon does the heavy lifting.
If the Democrats are in control, I am moving with my pensions to Argentina or Chile. I have friends there who will not mind my guns,

I have a friend in Guad. If I can keep my guns, political connections, I might choose that.
Mexico does not have a good history, however.

I came up to the northwest from sunny cal. CALIFORNIA 'S GOT SOME OF THE BEST WEATHER, BEACHES AND A TON OF THINGS TO DO, BUT IT ALSO HAS ( SMOG )...YUK! TRAFFIC JAMS...BUMMER ...AND THE COST OF LIVING IS WAY TO HIGH TO GO BACK NOW! I GUESS I'M HAPPY WITH THE GREAT NORTH WEST.

    HOLY THREAD RESURRECTION!

I'll play. I took the job I have so that I can stay working for Uncle Sam, and move back to Denver.

Would be quite happy in Phoenix, AZ or Jacksonville, FL.

My personal paradise is San Diego County.

I doubt I'll ever move back home to Tampa, though is always and will always be in my heart.

Lol only five years later right? I live near seattle but I would like to live somewhere warmer like socal, where I can hit the desert. Or somewhere like colorado for better snowmobiling.

I'm from the Northwest, wouldn't mind having property up there. I just bought a house in Spring Valley just outside of San Diego...20 min to the beach, 1hr 45 to the dez, 3hrs to Big Bear to snowboard, pretty much perfect.

I'd be back in FL, and I could surf + when in the south, I like my cities Southern.

Also, I'd be FAR from my ex fiancee, aka the reason why I can't live in Tampa.

Want to know something funny? She's a 3rd gen Okie. That's the reason for the added info on my "location" identifier!

NY. kinda close to buffalo. got allot of family and go about once a year. also maybe alaska? always thought it would be cool to lice their. if i was to move it would be some wear that got more snow. i love snow. than maybe have like a little vacation house in Charleston SC.

but i don’t want to live in a city. closets i would get to down town of any city is 30 min. i like being out side the city. but not too far from stuff.
