Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I dont know if this has been posted before, searched and couldnt find anything related to it...Anyway, couple days ago I was driving down the road in my Tacoma and was playing a CD and for reasons unknown it kept turning off and on by itself! Also did the same thing when I put it on AUX, but did nothing with the radio on. Was not driving down a gravel road either. When it happened I thought it might have something to do with the cold but it did it again today and it was around 40 degrees so figured I would ask the experts!

Might want to tell them if it's the stock stereo system, the JBL, or an aftermarket deck. Would probably help :notsure:

Had a 09 that did that.Wack the top of the dash and it would be ok for a couple months.

It never ceases to amaze me that hitting things can fix them 9 out of 10 times.

Take it in, your still under warranty right?

    Bone Stock.....for now.
Yeah, mine has done that a few times ('11 JBL). I did the good ol' beat the dash thing and it came back on. I'm going to bring it up to the dealer when I go back in next week for my second blower motor replacement.

Yeah it is still under warranty, but will try the whack on the dash first since the closest Toyota dealership is over 100 miles away
