    In the fuel lines, no, there is a "sock" on the base of the fuel pump, but thats all.
    I agree, if it was only that easy.
    Nope, no screens/filters in our filler necks, goes into gas tank, through a "flapper" valve, and gets sucked up through the sock into the fuel pump.

    Edit: Sorry, i was thinking the wrong stuff, the 2nd gens had no sock, just went into the fuel pump, the first gens had the "sock" attatched to the base of the pump.

    But just double checked, the 2nd gens have what they are calling a "fuel pump filter" at the base of the fuel pump, acts as the filter for the system. So yes Jesse, you would be correct in the thought that it should stop crap from getting to the engine.

    So it would stop something like sugar or sand? I read up on sugar in the gas tank and they say sugar will not be picked up instead it would rest at the bottom of the tank. Someone on the other thread mentioned soda screwing up an engine? FYI, I have a locking gas cap :)
