Hey everyone I need help finding a good shelter/home for a little buddy of ours. This little little pitbull fallowed my brother home the other day, he was wandering the streets, he has not dog tags or sign of ownership. We called a few of the city shelters to see if they would take him in, but the problem is they will not put up pitbulls up for adoption. If we take him in they will euthanize him.

He is still a puppy he's gotta be no more then 3-4 months old...he's extremely social, and knows his sit command. He's a real sweetheart! So if any of you know of a local private shelter that will take him please let me know!

We would keep him but we already have 3 dogs of our own. We really want to find a home/shelter that will take care of him. He's really playful and loving and is not bothered by our other dogs at all. So like I stated if you know of a shelter that has some room or specialized in pits let us know.

    How cute!

And there is no such thing as a bad Pit Bull. It's a bad owner who makes a bad pitty.

Pitbulls are the best looking dog breed in my opinion. And no I don't have a pitbull so I'm not biased. :cool/

We are not sure how long he was on the streets...my brother was out running on Sunday through this industrial area and that's where he spotted him. He said it just started running next to him and he pretty much ran with my brother all the way home. We are dog lovers and there was no way we were going to turn him away!

I am emailing a few of the shelters in the city that work with pitbulls. Hopefully we can find him a good home/shelter.

It kills me not having a place for these pups. What a nice looking pup. If i had somewhere for him I would be in the car right now.

Same here, if you were on the east coast I'd take him too. I have a Rottie and I can attest to no bad dogs, only bad owners! She is a great dog! Goodluck buddy!
