bilstein set at 1.75, Racho 5000 rear with 4 leaf kit, floor mats, high lift jack, pull hook in hitch, bed rail corner braces, severe duty brake pads and devil horns on the grill....
go to the NTSB home page and there is a complete investigation of church van roll overs after tire failures...in almost all cases, it is old tires, low on air...

There was not a single case of well maintained tires, either retread or new casings failing.

Touche. Here's one to counter, last summer, my mechanics Yukon, brand new tire delaminated on the highway. Tires fail, it happens, no more in quality retreads than newly manufactured tires.

They are too big, rub the frame. They balanced well. no issues, I have not had them on the highway yet. Gotta fine tune the air pressure this weekend. What psi you running?

After a few weeks, the only real observation I have is the noise. They are considerably louder than the BFG AT, TAs which they replaced (and are modeled after). Possibly due to subtle differences in the tread pattern, what seems to be a soft compound and a fairly larger size. There is a distinct humming sound from all four corners of the truck. Perhaps time for some sound deadening.

I settled in on 30 psi after the chalk line test yesterday.

One time i was driving my truck and a brand new Goodyear Wrangler MTR blew out. I have first hand experience of a new tire failing. I will never put new tires on my vehicle again!!!

I drive 40 miles a day @70mph for over a year on them now. Great tires that look like they will last 40,000+

This is what I like to hear. Pics? How loud are they compared to other M/Ts? Guard Dogs will be on my truck as soon as I pull in a few more paid OT shifts.

I'm considering a tire for my spare. I don't think I will have an issue since it will be used minimally or not at all.

Is there any way of locating one with a duratrac carcass?

I have been running 265/75/16 since Sept, ~1500 miles, and I have not had any problems, both on and off road! They have a normal tire hum from tread pattern, and no excessive wobble. However, I do take it easy around corners (more of a mental decision I think..)

Just call them. They try to accomodate the request like that. Might take a little bit.
