I hope to finish painting the lower foyer hallway tomorrow. Then it is on to the upper halway.

FedEx says my new PC is out for delivery today. I have become really busy with no end in sight till the 3rd week of next month. :D

I'm so sorry for your loss, Jim. It's so hard to help them cross the bridge, even though we know it's the right decision.

We had to put down our old girl, Daisy, in June. She was 2 weeks short of her 15th birthday but her body just gave out on her. I miss that sweet old girl every day. Like your girl we had her from a pup - actully lived 3 houses away from where she was born so we saw her almost daily from the day she was born.

When I was a teen I had a hunting dog named "Rags". He was a blue tic hound, and a damed good rabbit and pheasant dog. He and I started our first few years of hunting together. He had a different tone of bark when on a rabbit vs pheasant. I can still picture those warm fall days long ago as the sun was setting and Rags, my dad, my uncle and myself calling it a day of hunting. Sometimes Rags would be so tired, I would carry him back to the car. I still have dreams about that old dog. Why the F--- is a 62 year old getting tears in his eyes? I know how you feel brother.

:( Same reason this 46 year old has tears. Every one of them will always have a special place in our hearts. Hang in there, Jim. She's in a better place without pain. -- Rob
