So who can recommend me a good set of bindings? I just bought some Burton boots off a friend at work for cheap.

I like convenience, so I say Flows. Not the most snug, but easy as hell to strap in

Flows are super convient. My beef is they are super heavy too.
I'm on my third set of Burton Cartel's. Best fucking bindings IMO. They flex enough to jib and screw around in the park but keep you planted when hauling ass.

Well I'm out. I just got my tax return and it looks like I owe $450. Was expecting a return, but now that I owe I can't afford to go.

    Not really.

My company got aquired (twice) last year.
The first aquisition was only a partial company aquisition so I had to liquidate my shares or lose them. Did a same day sale so no tax was taken out on them. Got the 1099-R yesterday and almost cried.

Damn that stings, I'm sure you had a good idea what was coming but it still sucks when you punch in those numbers and see how negative that return is. I'm 1099-misc (even tho i shouldn't be) and had a similar heart-attack last week D:

Yeah $450 isn't much, but it is for my household. It sucks making $18 and hour and supporting a family of three. Good luck with that one Jason, I literally would cry.

I prepared for it, and was it less than I anticipated.

Okay thanks for the advice on the bindings. My board is brand new, hasn't seen snow really yet, is there anything I should do to get it prepared?
