Anyone into R/C?

Congrats on the tools, those Hudy drivers will last you for quite some time (they're pricey also). Pay close attention when making up those Deans with your polarity, and female always on batteries. LOL, on adding up the cost, I went and flew a little while this afternoon, and a buddy and I were talking about the same thing, he'd just dropped $80.00 on a Spectrum receiver for a plane. BTW, we both bought our first "real" buggies in 1985. I could prolly retire had I invested/saved all that money, ah hell, the shits fun.

 

the kit version of the Wraith is much better than the RTR version

 

That's pretty much the case with any kit vs. RTR. I love building new models, I usually take more time than needed, I'm a tad anal.

 

It actuallu just drags the bumper mount. I think he has bigger tires so it actually can flip

 

How much did your motor and esc cost you?

BUT I would wait because CK Hobby currently has a package deal in the works. It will include the motor, esc, and a programming card.

I will shoot him a call and see when we could expect the combo to be out.

why is the EXO buggy so damn tempting

 

I'm pretty sure that I can get the sv2 sidewinder for $100 and from all of the videos I've looked at it would be plenty fast.

Cause it's teh TITS.

 

cheapest i've seen them is about 120.

i got nothing against castle i just like supporting up and coming companies with great customer service and great products.

the reason i say to wait is because the when they put the package deal together it will probably be cheaper than the listed separate prices. and you will also get a programming card with the deal which is big.

Anyone know why my kyosho dbx will go forward but once I hit the bake / reverse it doesn't even go at all. I have a team associated remote and receiver 2.4

and it is frustrating having to wait this long while the Canucks have been getting them this week .

also, quite a few reports of wrong spider gears in the kits (included spiders for AX-10 or something)

so, i ordered a set of Exo spider gears to ship with the Exo (if it ever ships)
