Well I just paid $350 to ship these rims to me here in Hawaii. After careful consideration, I really liked the rims as shown on their website. BUT once I got them, I noticed a slight difference!

Maybe these are an updated version and they forgot to update the picture on the website, I dont know...

But I'm irritated with the whole process of getting these rims and I am considering sending them back. First of all, the $350 that I paid to ship the rims where supposed to get them to my house in 2 days, they arrived on the 6th day, now with the difference in the looks, I'm just not sure what to do..

So the first pic is taken straight from their web page, you'll a few main differences compared to the pics below that I took here at home.

the biggest difference of the 2 wheel's is that one pictured on the website shows the lip of the rim is very flat which makes the dish of the wheel look really deep. That's why I really like this rim. In my picture you'll notice an extra lip on the rim of the picture which makes the wheel look alot more shallow PLUS it kind of "flowers" out now at the outer edge of the rim instead of going straight out like in the website pic.

there are a few other subtle differences like the area of the lug nuts is flat in thw website pic as compared to my pic there is a dip in the rim around the lugs.

So you guys think I'm just being anal because I'm irritated at the whole ordeal or would you guys send these wheels back?

not much of a difference, but its noticeable. i like the first rim (website version) cuz its more simple... the rims they sent you have a little too much design for me

There's enough difference between the two that would warrant a return if that's your choice. The place you bought them from should change it's photos.

Just my opinion, wheels are like women, in one way ... no offense to the women here :p everyone has their look ... no one likes exactly the same two. What some guys really like some other guys find hideous. Vice versa.

I don't like em at all, beyond horrid to me, but, I do see the difference you mention and I do like the "flat lip" one from their website a bit better.

Thank you very much for the feedback guys!!!

I'd actually try to get them to cover shipping as this wasn't any fault of mines, but if I have to ship them, it's about $100 a wheel.

    I agree %100!!!!

That's actually a great idea! I'll take a look-see if I can find any pictures of my truck that might work!

Thanks again everyone, the feedback I get from this forums is invaluable!!!

Not my cup of tea at all, but to each their own.

Sometimes wheels do look different based on offset but these are not due to a offset difference in the way they look. They just plain out have differences due to change in design.

I think the first wheel looks way better.

The additional groove by the lugs is noticeable. The recesses near the outer lip is noticeable. The flatness of the overall dish/lip on the first one is very noticeable. The added black spot in the machined areas on the outer hoop is noticeable.

I would also be unhappy with additional shipping charges and them not meeting the date.

Who where the shipped by. USPS does not have a shipping guarantee just typical arrival times. I believe UPS and FedEx due have guarantees but not sure if those are only for the mainland and not Hawaii.

Not sure of the disclosures on their website you bought from like, pictures may vary in print and such. Alot of places have you by the balls now if you do not read the print.

Hope all works out for ya

mmmmm, tough call. i def see a difference, but then i appreciate details. these are fairly similar to my dale earnhardt jr.'s. however due to the black in the horizontal portion of the 6 silver-sections, they appear a bit busier. full, flat silver in that area really stands out not only when viewed from the obvious face, but also greatly when approaching the truck from the front or rear, something i don't believe many consider when purchasing wheels. but in the end, your opinion is most important.

I can appreciate your opinion, thanks!

Thanks! I hope so too! The wheels were shippied via Fed-Ex. I guess I'll have to take a look at the website regarding and discolsures that I may have missed. Thanks for the input!

These are Diamo 17 Karat wheels. they are 17x10 with a 5" back spacing.

    I hear ya!

I just might do that, I'm still taking in all of the feedback and weighing out my options, Thanks!

That's kinda what I was thinking, Thanks!

I don't see a difference??? The picture is probably 20" and yours are smaller so there is always a considerable change in the look. That why I always try to find a picture of the size I'm looking to buy. I say keep them. I would if it were me.
