I saw mud flaps and got excited.

 

No kidding they are expensive! I'm just tired of buying the cheap sets and wearing them out and getting another set. I will buy a couple cheap sets to take to the track/woods with me, but they Hudy's are not leaving the house.

I'm a little nervous about making the swap to Deans - I haven't done any real soldering in about 4 years or so.

A few friends of mine started building a track.... Can't wait for it to be finished!

 

Does he have plans on pAper? Or in his head. If sooo, I want those plans. My law in law want to make a track in his back yard.

 

I'm not sure. I'll def ask him about it. If not I'll be sure to give very good pics/vids/numbers when the track is done.

 

As long as you have a good soldering iron its not too hard. Now the mini deans plugs are a PITA

 

When it warms up I might just have to rent a bobcat....

I have an 80W Weller with a large and small tip...I got plenty of connectors so I can practice with a couple before actually committing to it.

That should be more than enough iron. It's not that bad, do you happen to have a "third hand tool"? There are awful nice for making up Deans.

I have an HPI Savage the the 4.6 Im trying to sell it. with lots of extras. PM if interested.

 

I am sure some one will figure out how to get the exo body onto a short course truck
