Do you mean the texture? Ive been having troubles getting the paint as perfect as possible. But then i realized its going to look better than my truck and its going to get and dirty and chipped by rocks the day i put it on. So i said fuck it im just going to get it done.

That has to do with sanding, not so much how you paint it.

All in the prep of the actual surface..

yeah some wet sanding will take that orange peel out. Even pro paint jobs orange peel, it's all in the post paint work.

Can we get rattle can cool steel metallic? Or is our only option to go to a paint store and have it matched and use a spray gun?

I think the look of the 95-97 front end are the baddest looking Tacomas.

    I have a 98-00.

It's akin to having a thing for petite Polynesians and waking up next to a walrus of a Caucasian every morning.

I have had my truck since April 2011. It is a 4 cylinder and I don't think I have ever gotten over 18mpg with it. I am pretty sure right now I am getting between 16.5 and 17.5. I get about 240-250 miles to a tank. I drive about 11 miles each way to work every day and maybe a few more miles to run errands.

yea wet sand and buff it, when i paint at work we have to do that sometimes as well. but also if you where spraying with a gun you can getter better quality and can get the paint to lay down alot better.
