    I did my beginners course in Texas, and it covered the riding portion of the license test, but not the written portion. 20 minutes in the license office for the test and them to take my picture, and I was legal.

    I took mine back in 05, 2 day thing for $250 bucks, get your license right after. That one you could take your own bike, I don't think anyone did though.
