OK, back to the beers thing. I will split the $50 with somebody, if anyone wants to chip in great.
I'm just concerned with of getting in some shit over it, the woman I talked to when I made the reservation just seemed almost bitchy enough to make a stink over it and with it being a state park I don't know if getting caught with beers without the permit could really casue a shit storm. Kinda my ass on the line since it's my name on the rental.

KevMc: I don't think it will be a problem. Just make sure no one is walking around advertising the fact that we're breaking the rules and we'll be golden. Also; maybe restrict drinking to the shelter? Just so passers-by can't tell what's on the can

I think y'all should either

1. Split that wavier however many times depending on who's going to be drinking or

2. Not drink at all. Sneaking it might get us caught and leave Kev with a unwanted expense

How's this, if somebody wants to step up and purchase the alcohol waiver/permit, you can call Karen Deaton at the park, probobly have the leave a voice mail but she'll call back, 803-213-2053 and tell them you want to add the permit for the Tacama Party at Dogwood Shelter on the 28th. What's $50 split among a handful of folks?

If we don't get a permit then I say we leave the beers at home and we can ride up the The Wild Hare and have a few cold ones afterward.

I don't mean to be a prude, actually hanging out drinking beer is one of my favorite things to do, and I'm pretty good at it. I just don't want to run into any problems.

 

well I absolutly hate to say this.. but I don't think I will be able to make this one.. the plan was I come to this meet while my parents went to go get an international scout somewhere up north. but now my mom has backed out and my dad is making me go with him...
but i'm telling them I'm going to the next couple of meets wether they like it or not.
