    Yes, the hubs.

ARB lockers use air to engage them. The toyota factory lockers use electricity, hence the term E-locker.

If you want them locked all the time you could put a spool in the rear which just locks both axles so they spin at the same rate, or you could weld it (same concept, just a lot cheaper) only problem with this is you will wear tires like a S.O.B.!

how much trouble is it to have ARB' put in and a compressor put on it? does the compressor get set up like compressors on vehicles with air brakes

Open diff does ok, but if you want some real traction, locked front and rear is where it's at!

Even just having the rear locked makes a big difference, but when you throw in the front locker...

Yes, see how it does for you offroad now, if you feel the need for more traction then put an ARB in the rear.

Yeah man, get out there using what you've got. Bring recovery gear and a friend.

No matter how built your rig is, you can *always* find a way to get it stuck.

When you find you're getting stuck more than you'd like, then it's time to think about putting in a rear locking differential. Not before.

A front locker is great, but not a must... usually when we go wheeling I keep it in 2wd low with the rear locker engaged until we come to a tough obstacle. When you do have all four wheels locked in, the front can be a lil tough to turn. There is a trick to it that just takes a lil getting used to. The front locker works much like a ratchet, when I can power to it, it locks in and can be a lil tougher to turn, but when I take the foot off the gas it unlocks and allows it to ratchet, making the turn like normal
