Just reg'd up on URC. Noticed Tacomanator and mjbtaco are on there... I can't post yet. I'm in "purgatory" or some bullshit.

Is it just me, or is that forum not very active?

Also... I don't know if I would call the majority of members there "social butterflies"....

It used to be a pretty good forum, seems it did kinda dry up awhile back. I've not been there in years. RC Tech Forums the best I know of for surface models.

went to the track today with my new toro set up.

I love it! the top speed wasnt as fast at my last set up but it had a much better power curve.

the throttle control was a whole lot better than my last set up. its like it did exactly what you wanted to.

and the extra torque was perfect for the jumps instead of having to fly full speed up to a jump i could cruise into it and set it up perfectly then just give the throttle a little blip and it would launch it over the jumps.

i was consistently beating 4wd slashes with this new set up where as with the old set up i had a hard time controlling the truck so i would only beat them once in a while.

considering it's the got the castle setup I would say it's at least worth the retail of the motor/esc combo alone. Just a guess.

Does your toro setup have some kind of "space-age" technology like the Castle-link where you can plug it up to a computer?
