I have a 99 Tacoma and hoping some of you might have some ideas as to why my interior door lights won't turn off. the little "plunger" switch seems to be clear. I also saw somewhere could be a dirty MF?? The dome lights turn off btw. so i'm really confused.

Need some help from you smarter folk..lol.

    Thanks guys

I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
You could try disconnecting the battery. It resets the internal computer. Could be worth a shot.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
The circuit doesn't run through the ecu

Bad door switch or integration relay. (leaning towards a door switch)

Take one switch out and disconnect a wire. If the light goes out, it's that switch. If it stays on, reconnect the switch and do the same to the other. Make sure the opposite door is closed when you do this.
