thanks guys! worst part of it all. is my dads other brother and his wife that lives in Atlanta GA. got kinda greedy and lied and it all was suppose to be split even. well some how stuff went missing and they said are family stole stuff.( only 5 of us and my aunt(than never went over their) they took stuff and said they did not.(we know they did) and they painted the house and did stuff we agreed NOT to do. we spent more time over their(every weekend and mom and dad took days off) to go over their and do stuff) since we life like 35 min from the house. and they are like 2.5 hours. they also lied and said that they wear having a hard time putting bread on the table than went on a 2 week cruse(kinda) i think they rented a big catamaran boat for 2 weeks. story short dad has not talked to them since than.

Sorry about the family situation. Unfortunately a death brings out the vultures in a lot of families. It's really a shame :(

x2 Very Sorry .... Been through something similar, the details aren't important. Brings this to mind: "We pick our friends in life, but we don't get to pick our family." That's a hard truth...and it doesn't keep the pain from coming to the surface from time to time...you're not alone in those feelings. :(

Good words Jim...I feel I was fortunate to have come to that reality when I retired from Active Duty...I was a so to speak "important person" in my squadron...lots of folks relied on me and came to me for advice/answers. But the day I retired, another guy was suddenly the "important person" and what I had left was my wife, sons, and friends; the "good stuff"...without them I'd have nothing. Try to remind myself of that every day in my new career...keeps me focused on the "good stuff."
