Added a Leer 100XQ Camper Shell and a Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver (2"). Ordered the trailer hitch and wiring harness from etrailer.com on Monday, got it on Wednesday, now that is fast... The camper top came with Yakima racks on it so I can use those to haul my 16' 4" canoe... LOL

Alright cool, thanks. I was like what the hell, is my transmission not shifting. So i pull into a gas station, figuring let the RPMS settle down. Then they went back up when i got on the state road. So i realized it then and pulled into a side street and got back to normal.

I'd say they probably are made by the same company but stamped with different "brands". :) FYI, if you ever need extra keys, just call your local dealer with the code stamped on the lock cylinder and they'll order them for you. Cost me $29 including shipping for 2 new keys, but a ton cheaper than replacing the lock...

A lot of camper shell/topper dealers will install what ever rack system you want on top. I bought a Leer for my Duramax and they were going to give me a good deal on a Thule, but I already had a bunch of Yakama rack accessories, so I asked if they could install one of those instead. Really all they installed was the rails on the top of the shell, then ordered me the towers that worked with the rail system.

I finished the install of my complete OME kit from Wheeler's. I went with the 883 coils since I have the ARB and plan on getting a winch and some skids from BudBuilt or Skid Row. Here are a few pics.

ARB Front bumper. Custom rear bumper. ARB snorkel. 883s 90004s. 1 inch daystar body mounts lift. Full skids. Leather seats.
Whats the bennifits of the 883 over the 882? I thought the 882 was for the arb bumber and wench.

883 is usually a 2nd gen coil, they are stiffer than the 882's.

They give the same lift as the 881's (less than the 882's) while being able to hold more weight.

IIRC the 881/882 coils have a 500# rate and the 883's have a 590# rate.

So they are for someone who wants mild lift (similar to the 881) but still wants to run a winch and bumper combo

883s will give you 3" of lift without any extra weight up front. They can be run on 1st and 2nd gens but for most 1st gens it should be a double cab v6 so you have more weight to put on them.
