Anyone into R/C?

the combo that ck hobby is putting together will come with a program card.



it has a usb port at the bottom so i assume that it can be hooked up to the computer for more advanced tuning.

 

Ahh the program card would actually work better for me. I'm a mac.

Any idea when they'll have this com bo out?

The combo will is estimated to come out mid february. It will include a motor, esc and program card @ under $100. It will be available in 3200kv,4300kv and 5200kv. The 5200kv will include a 120amp esc so it will cost a bit more than the others.

The Toro 540 4pole motor is comparable in power to the castle 1406 line of motors

just installed half of a brushless kit in my Losi 1/36 micro desert truck.....then found out that the servo and receiver for it (the half not installed) is back ordered....I wont have it till Feb. 7.....which means i cant terrorize the dorms with it anymore


oh, and there will be LiPos added to it over the summer, i want this sucker fast lol

this is exactly what people went trough with the Wraith release

 

have any of you guys purchased any , skylipos, turnigy, blue lipo, zippy?

are they good? theyre pretty cheap 16-25 bucks

 

Some of the guys I fly with use Zippy packs, and have had no problems at all. If truth be known, all the cells are prolly made by a hand full of manufacturers. Then assembled by the other companies.

 

i run the turnigy nanos...have three 2s 50c for close to a year now and no issues

 

Well have fun with that.......the most helpful thing for putting it together after you take it apart is a whole hell of a lot of cursing
