Anyone else have a chance to hit up Whistler? Where have you all been? I've ridden in PA, MD, VT, CO, CA and Whistler. really want to check out WA, MT and NM. Anyone have a chance to get dropped in by a helo? My wife flies helo's for the navy and i keep telling her we need to move to the Rocky mountains and open a heli skiing operation!

Its all about the Sintered Base that Marvin Manufacturing(GNU/Lib-Tech) has the more you wax over time the fast the board will be. The base is very pores and with take on a lot of wax. Back to your point it doesn't really need to be wax when they are brand new but it will not hurt anything.

I wax my board once a week, sometimes twice. Then again I use it 5-7 times a week, and on powder days it really helps stay on top of the deep. I use Bluebird all temp wax. Its been a great week out here, powder day after powder day, lots of avalanche activity out of bounds though.

That is not true. Most companies only do a roll on wax just to keep the base from drying out before you get a chance to wax it yourself

Yeah i wanted some EG2's forever, especially the signature series ones. But could never find a lens I liked. I don't like blue and I wanted them bright. These lenses let in lot of light and I love the color. I can't even see the frame when I have them on. It's crazy. Lol
