Wet Okole's or Leather?

Anyone have any recommendations on which seat covers to go with? Im either going to go with wet okole's or some type of leather seat cover. What are some places to get a good quality leather cover for a decent price? any one have any pics?

I disagree. Leather > cloth. It cleans up so much quicker and easier than cloth when it gets dirty.

 

did the WO's smell for a while after installation?

 

does it always smell like that or does it fully go away with time?

 

I had WO's in my '07 and have factory leather in my '10. I really liked the WO's but love the leather. As said, clean up is a snap and I enjoy the appearance and durability as well. If there was anything I could change it would be a two tone scheme of grey and charcoal over the straight grey factory leather. If I'm not mistaken Katz has some great color options. Pics of both in my gallery of both my setups if you'd like to see them.

 

The leather would be more expensive. It's an actual replacement for the cloth, whereas the Wet Okole's are just a cover.

 

I just ordered a set of covers from Marathon. They are 1000 denier Cordura nylon (same as or heavier than most military gear) so they shoull last longer than the truck. As for price, they are similar to Okole's.

 

Holy crap, I had no clue katz was a full replacement. No wonder it costs so much more!! I (incorrectly) assumed they were just another cover like WO.

Yup. I paid $1200 CAN for mine. But I have a double cab, and I orders 4 seat heaters, 4 embroidered "TRD", and the two tone with contrast stitching.

 

Time will tell how well the WOs hold up for me but I personally don't like how leather wears over time. The WOs will probably hold up better after 5 years, but I dunno. If I'm selling the car, I can take the WOs with me and the seats below are practically new (because the car is just a year old and I steam cleaned right before installing the WOs).

Leather looks classy. I imagine it's a bit harder to install than the WOs since they are a replacement.

They both clean up nicely.

I have WO, but if I could do it over again I would get katskinz.
The WO are nice, but they do get dirty, and after 4 years mine are showing some wear.
